Do I have to pay sales tax?

If an item is subject to sales tax in the country or region to which the order is shipped, tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item. In accordance with country, region and local tax laws, the total selling price of an item may include delivery, handling charges and discounts.

All sales tax calculations are subject to revision and are recalculated on the day your order is shipped. If your order has more than one shipping address, sales tax will be applied to the individual items in your order based upon the specific ship-to destinations.

No sales tax is collected on the purchase of Gift Cards. However, purchases paid for with Gift Cards are subject to sales tax in accordance with applicable laws.

How can I pay for my order?

For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express debit and credit cards.

When will I be charged for my order?

When your order is placed, the payment amount of your order is authorised and held by your financial institution. In most cases payment will be take the same or next day. In the case of a debit card, the funds may be held by your bank until we send a request to charge your card. All authorisation holds will expire in accordance with the terms of your bank or financial institution.

How accurate are the colours shown for each product?

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products. However, we can't guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.


What are your delivery rates?

What delivery options are available for my order?

Delivery options vary based on the items included in your order. Your basket will reflect the delivery options available to you. Once you have selected a delivery option, adding or removing products may change the selected delivery option for your order. Visit our Shipping and Delivery page to learn more.

Do you deliver outside of the United Kingdom?

The UK Herman Miller online store ships to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. If you are looking to purchase internationally. We don't at this point in time have Herman Miller stores in other regions of Europe but we do in America and Asia. We do however have Gaming stores throughout Europe, Asia and America.

Do your products require assembly?

Most of our products do not require assembly but we do highlight the ones that do on their product pages.

Can I track my order?

Yes, the latest you will receive a tracking number is once Inplace or Arrow XL have confirmed a specific delivery day and time slot for your order. You can also contact our Customer Care teams.

Can I cancel or change an order?

Cancellations can be made any time prior to the shipment of your order. To make any changes, we would need to cancel the original order and place a new order for the updated item(s).

Do I need an account? What are the benefits?

You aren't required to create an account to purchase from the online Herman Miller Store. However, having an account provides easier checkout and a more customised shopping experience.

I forgot my account name/password. Can I recover it?

Yes. To recover your password, click on the Forgot Password link under the log in form. You can then enter your email address and click the Submit button.
