Copenhagen-based industrial designer Thomas Bentzen believes that everything he creates should engage and generate curiosity, be functional and meet human needs when being used. In other words, he's a designer who thinks beyond the obvious. Crafted in tough polypropylene, his Shade Bin (2019) combines utility with elegance while keeping office waste fully out of sight. Thomas Bentzen
Thomas Bentzen designs furniture that’s functional and simple but also engages curiosity. “I like to create objects that satisfy a human need when in use and create joy when idle,” he says. Bentzen started his Copenhagen studio in 2010, and is known for his methodical approach as well as thinking beyond the obvious. He’s passionate about creating products that are both engaging and durable.
Delivery
Delivery is free for all orders over £49 to most areas within the UK (England, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands).
For orders under £49, a delivery charge of £4.95 will be added in the checkout.
For orders to Northern Ireland, a delivery charge of £50 will be added in the checkout.
